Creekside Community Outreach Center

A mission of our church which developed from a Bible study. Once our minds were set to it, nothing stood in our way. When God calls on you to do something, he makes sure it happens, and he guides you from beginning to end...of which this mission has none.

What we are providing

The Creekside Thrift Shop provides low cost clothing, household items, games and toys, novelty, knick-knacks, and other miscellaneous items for all who come to our shop. All our revenue, after expenses of rent, electric, heat, and taxes goes back into the community to those in need due to fire, health concerns, heat needs, food needs, or other catastrophic events. We also donate to our local associations, such as fire departments, village events, school supplies to schools, Samaritan's Purse shoeboxes, etc.

Open hours are Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, & Saturdays 10am - 2pm.

How do we work

Creekside is run entirely by volunteers. We have been in existence since October 2013, over 10 years. We are always looking for new volunteers, as there is always lots of work to do, as donations never stop coming in, and have to be sorted and checked for quality before going out for sale.

Our price structure is set so prices are nominal, and everyone should be able to afford. In those cases where they can't, we can accommodate those as well.

Want to volunteer?

If you'd like to volunteer, you get a great reward. Talking with people that have a story to tell, or just listening to them, is a great service. Even just working in the back room is fulfilling, preparing the merchandise for people to buy, knowing that the money is going to help someone who is in need is heartwarming. If you' like to have that feeling, stop in to Creekside some day and talk to us. You don't have to be there for long shifts. A two hour shift once a week, or every two weeks is great. Add to your story.
